An old fashioned remedy for head shaking is to give a cupful of Epsom Salts to the horse in the feed every day. Why it works we aren’t sure, but it may be due to the increase in magnesium in the diet which is a proven agent that settles the nerves.
Has many other uses around the stable for poultices etc.
Recommended Feeding Amount: 50g daily as required.
